Street lamp poles are the infrastructure that supports road lighting fixtures, usually installed on both sides of roads, squares, parks, and other areas. They are supported by fixed or adjustable lamp arms to provide night lighting functions. The height is generally between 3-12 meters (lower than high pole lights), and it is the core component of urban public lighting systems.

Structural rationality

The structural design of street lamp poles is reasonable to ensure their stability and safety:

Lamp pole shape: The main pole of the lamp pole is usually a conical pole with a smaller upper diameter and a larger lower diameter to increase stability. At the same time, the surface of the lamp post is smooth, without any cracks, solder leaks, continuous air holes, undercutting, or unevenness.

Wall thickness: The wall thickness of the lamp post depends on the material and design requirements. For example, the wall thickness of a lamp post made of high-quality Q235A steel does not include the thickness of the galvanized layer, while an aluminum alloy lamp post may have a thinner wall thickness due to its lightweight material.

Welding method: Automatic sub arc welding and ultrasonic inspection are usually used for welding lamp posts to ensure that the welding quality meets the relevant standard requirements.
