1. Lamp pole system
Rod body: The main supporting structure is mostly a conical or polygonal steel structure, with a height usually between 15 meters and 50 meters. The surface is treated with hot-dip galvanizing and spray coating to enhance its anti-corrosion performance.
Base: A concrete foundation for fixing the lamp post, with embedded parts (anchor bolts) to ensure overall stability.
Access door: located at the bottom of the lamp post, providing access for internal cables and lifting systems.
Flange: A detachable component that connects the lamp post to the base, facilitating transportation and installation.
2. Lamp panel
Bracket structure: Aluminum alloy or steel frame, used to fix lamps and reflectors, designed to consider wind resistance and weight distribution.
Light source: High power LED lamps, high-pressure sodium lamps, or metal halide lamps are commonly used, and modern designs tend to be energy-saving and long-lasting.
Protective cover: Made of transparent and durable PC or glass material, with a protection level usually above IP65, dustproof and waterproof.
Reflector/lens: Optimize light distribution, improve lighting efficiency, and avoid light pollution.
3. Lifting system
Electric/hydraulic drive device: The motor or hydraulic pump provides power, and some high pole lights use manual handle backup.
Wire rope/chain: connecting the lamp panel and the driving device, it needs to have high strength and corrosion resistance.
Pulley block: a guiding and transmission component that reduces friction loss and ensures smooth lifting.
Limit switch: prevents the lamp panel from lifting beyond the safe range and triggering an automatic stop.
4. Power supply system
Cable: Built in or externally laid on the inner wall of the lamp post, connecting the distribution box and the lighting fixtures.
Distribution box: Integrated circuit breakers, fuses and other protective devices, some equipped with smart meters.
Lightning protection device: The top lightning rod is combined with the grounding system (grounding electrode, copper cable) to prevent lightning damage.
Emergency power supply: optional solar panels or batteries for emergency lighting.
5. Control system
Time control/light control module: Automatically turn on and off lighting fixtures based on preset time or ambient light.
Remote monitoring: Implementing remote fault diagnosis and brightness adjustment through Internet of Things (IoT) technology.
Manual operation panel: located inside the maintenance door, used for local control and parameter settings.
6. Safety and protective devices
Windproof design: The lamp panel can rotate 360 ° to reduce wind resistance, or the pole structure can be reinforced to resist strong winds.
Warning sign: The lamp post is coated with reflective strips or aviation obstruction lights to ensure low altitude flight safety.
Fall prevention device: Automatically locks when the steel wire rope breaks to prevent the lamp panel from falling.
Additional features (optional)
Environmental monitoring: integrated camera, temperature and humidity sensor, air quality detection module.
Advertising display screen: An LED screen is installed in the middle of the lamp post for information dissemination.
Wireless network nodes: provide public Wi Fi or 5G signal coverage.
Materials and processes
Steel: Q235 or Q345 high-strength steel to ensure structural stability.
Surface treatment: hot-dip galvanizing (thickness ≥ 85μm)+polyester powder coating (≥100μm) to extend service life.
Sealing design: A silicone sealing ring is used at the interface between the lamp panel and the rod to prevent rainwater from seeping in.
